Rooted in the African philosophy of ubuntu, captured in the phrase ““I am, because of who we all are” the concept emphasises the interconnectedness of humanity, in an exploration of the continent's rich culinary traditions.

An open show kitchen and Chef's Table provide an immersive experience, showcasing the skilful combination of traditional slow-cooking methods with modern techniques, infusing each dish with local talent and culinary wisdom. This approach aligns with global trends in cultural exploration in a menu that features locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and sustainable practices.

The uniforms blend vibrant traditional African prints with contemporary designs, complemented by sleek black and white attire. As part of our chef placement services at Food Concept 360, we’re proud to introduce culinary talents like Chef Didier, a Congolese national with a Grand Diplôme from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.

Chef Didier's passion for slow, spicy, and smoky flavours was cultivated during his time in Mozambique, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Tunisia.

As the signature chef at Origins, he brings a rich tapestry of experiences to every dish, weaving his personal history and diverse culinary influences into the menu.
